Award of $1,500 to Fulton
Leadership Academy
SuccessMaker is a digital learning platform by Pearson Education.
Students start out with an initial assessment of their ability level and
the platform adapts and adjusts the content to get the student where
they should be and beyond. For "below level" students, it adapts to
their level and gives them instruction that will help them to get on
grade level and beyond. For on-level and above-level students, Success
Maker adapts to their level and continues to push their ability so that
they can reach their maximum potential. To be clear this system does
give the students individualized instruction and constantly assesses
them to see where they are with their ability level. The system is data
driven, creates reports on the students’ progress and it is made to be
as engaging and fun as possible so that students don’t see it as a chore
to do.
Award of
$2,057 to Randolph Elementary
Awarded 3 -
eBeam Edge packages. This package is used to turn ordinary white
boards into interactive learning devices. The eBeam technology helps
teachers plan, prepare and deliver compelling lessons, while keeping
students involved and motivated. With our increased technology, our
students will not only learn facts and figures, they will learn about
collaboration, problem-solving, communication, leadership, motivation,
productivity and self-direction. It has been shown that the benefits of
technology in the classroom are broad and deep. When schools utilize
educational technology like interactive whiteboards, students are more
engaged, more motivated, and more excited about learning.
